When did you wrote your first creative work?

Maths, that's my forte . I love physics and chemistry too. Not much for biology though
My forte is in biology, and my waterloo is physics, chemistry and Math.

But if I'd rank my subject preferences, I'd say:

1). History
2). Language
3). Arts

I'm teaching a language class in junior high school now.

nice, keep up the good work.

History, don't hate it. Language not so much interest.

Ai-chan wrote a lot of things. But the first significant creative work outside of school assignments was an erotica when Ai-chan was like 16 or 17. Ai-chan posted it on literotica and deleted it and its copies about half a year later in anger. Bible thumpers were calling Ai-chan a devil and that Ai-chan should burn in hell for this evil piece. Why would there be fanatic christian freaks in an erotica site?

Reading post marital missionary position fan fic probably.

I'm ignoring the works that were done to due compulsion by schooling.

6th grade, it was a little more than an Inheritance Cycle fanfic, my mother refused to read it because my handwriting was so terrible she wasn't willing to decipher it. In retrospect, it was really rude that was her reason. Since then, I've never handwritten anything ever, and only type things.

That was the first attempt at self-directed creative writing. I would say that my first attempt at a true novel, was a YA stand-alone novel called "Cecelia" it was supposed to be YA LGBTQ novel about the trans experience... I still cringe reading it now.

I wrote a scifi human sided invasion. As in we were fucking things up. I found it again a few years ago and my god. That thing was barely legible. I used words of the week if I recall correctly thinking it was smart. Example: Barrage of Bitches, being the name of the starting strip club that establish the main characters.

If we're talking about our very first, then it would be a berenstein bear fanfic I wrote when I was five. I don't remember what happened to it, but I still remember the plot to this day. Basically I just turned them into actual bears and they got honey. Thats it.

Now if we're talking about the first when I got actually serious into writing it would be a webnovel I wrote on storyfire(a dead website) called "Heroes and Villains". The story is good, but my writing wasn't so I stopped writing it when I realized I went through nearly 2 books worth of content in under 30 chapters. Talk about pacing issues.

Does making up and writing about a non-existent family member as a homework count? I remember I made up my grandma because I didn't have one.

I think when I was a 7th-Grader. My teacher told us to write a unique legend story. So I thought, why not a bunny so I come up with a "Legend of the Bunny" and have a grade similar to A+ since in the PH, we only gives score not grade of it. after that. I forgot how the story goes though since the teacher didn't give it back .

It was probably some poem or something required for school when I was a kid. But if not including school-related work, something that I wrote for myself, then it's going to be my first web novel like six years ago on Royal Road when it was still a small site.
Yeah, also poetry for me. 12/13 or something like that. I wasn't writing angsty stories with barely disguised self-inserts as a teenager, I was writing shithouse poetry and thinking I was SOOOO edgy :ROFLMAO:

Well for me it was when i was ten(i swear i'm not flexing)
I wrote a poem then. And to this day it was the best one i did. Actually i didn't write any after them.....
I was twenty-five. But, I rushed the ending. Finished it with a good ending just last month. An entire year of hiatus is a lot. But I am glad at how it turned out.

Technically, 15. However, I didn't start writing stories in earnest until I was 18 which was 4 years ago.

Uhhh... what,.. same year the challenger exploded? So... 38 years ago? Self published and sold about a dozen copies. Just got a dot matrix printer and the scam of printer ink being worth more than it's weight in gold hadn't started yet. Sold it for 10 dollars a copy. Adventures in the 5th dimension I think was the title. I was... 12?

i think it's when i was twelve or something. i got inspired to write when i played breath of fire iv. it's just some lines of dialogues and a random huge ass damage number and so many exclamation marks.

i later went to draw simple maps via ms paint and also made some world building notes tho i lost it once i switched to a newer pc. i always wrote them via documents like notepad or wordpad. i didn't really like writing them by hand and my handwriting sucks.

back then, i feel that i enjoy it a lot since i don't even care how bad i was. i really should adopt that same mindset as my old self, many years back.

granted i didn't do it a lot or dedicate my time to it, but when i do, it's because i really want to and i genuinely enjoy it.
