Vodka with a shot of Vodka.

Drink I have actually made:
Jokingly called 'All killer, no filler'. Shot of coffee vodka, shot of vanilla vodka, shot(or 2) of cream de cacao, shot(or 2) of bailey's. Goes down real smooth, just don't try to stand up after drinking one.

If he's Russian (as all the other people here are assuming) then they don't drink cocktails that much, they like their alcohol neat. If he's not Russian then you can choose a drink from whatever locations he visited in his backstory, maybe he visited the Caribbean and enjoyed the Mojito, maybe he spent a lot of time with British sailors and enjoyed the Gin and Tonic, maybe he spent a lot of time with mobsters in the US and enjoyed the old fashioned, maybe he was a blue collar worker and really enjoyed whatever beer is on tap.

If we only go by the name, then there is this lesser-known Vodka Martini variation called Soviet. 4 parts Vodka, 1 part dry vermouth, 1 part cream sherry, and dashes of lemon juice, served with a lemon twist. It is quite a nice drink actually.

Wouldn't the .762X54r make a better option, comrade?
No, that's a carbine bullet for a gun that isn't as common for people to own. An AK-47 is better because of it being common.

Not at all; that's the full-length rifle round.

I'm pretty sure a Mosin Nagant is way more common than an AK. The Mosin made their way across the world.
AKs also made their way around the world. I would disagree that the 54r is more common as the 39 as it fits a wider variety of kalishnakov rifles than the 54r and was more readily available until the late 90s.
