The options didn't have, supernatural, historical, tragedy, boys love, mecha, etc.

I think Corty excluded the genres he or she dislikes. I voted smut, btw.

Yes, I just find it funny no one reads sports or writes it. I see plenty of smut novels get trending, and even some BL novels, but I don't think I saw a sports one.
The best medical stories I've read were made by people knowledgeable in the subject; the best historicals I've read were made by historians; the best tragedies were made by people who've experienced it, so therefore, the best sports novels would be made by people who play sports (basically no one in ScribbleHub).

Fantasy, Isekai, and GL.

That aside, I find it funny how no one votes sports. I also wouldn't vote it, but Fantasy Sports could be interesting.
Until, almost by accident, I read one of Robert E. Howard's (yeah, the guy who created Conan) sports stories, I thought there would be no way to make sports interesting, but he could.

I wouldn't classify gender bender as a genre, per se... but fantasy, sci-fi, and girl's love.

Fantasy
Isekai
Mystery

I like Re Zero.

Its pretty much one fo the first isekai i watch, along with konosuba. Every isekai after that feels like being written by incompetent writer who cant even incorporate proper logic.

Despite the entire world of Re:zero being small due to some calamity 400 years ago, and many of the thing being explained with more detail than average story, the entire story and world of Re Zero still feels smreally really big because of the mystery element.

Isekai because i want unexpected people in unexpected place.

And fantasy because i like magic. It makes more imaginative events and suffering possible.

Fantasy, Scifi, and Isekai for me.

All for one reason. It's a different world. I really like world building and reading about things not seen IRL. I pay attention to the news and hit up history already IRL. I want my fiction to be an entirely different world.

Fantasy because you can do everything with it, imagination is the limit.

Isekai because of the clash of cultures that comes with it, and people try ideas that would sound forced in a straight up fantasy.

Romance because of relationships are super complex

I think "Honzuki no Gekokujou/Ascendance of a Bookworm" puts Konosuba to shame, its not a mystery though.
