I tried Gemini for image gen but it’s pretty weak. The girl comes out either conventionally attractive or totally weird, and the model ignores any corrections. I used to use GPTbut I stopped using it on principle

I don't know. Why the hell is it so long? Like, it's super fucking long. It will look hilarious when it's used as a cover.
Also, to me, it looks boring. There are dragons in the image, but it's still super boring to look at. It also tells me nothing, because it's oddly specific, with two very expressive people hugging each other, while wearing the most boring clothes of all time, and then there are dragons randomly in the background, as if they were birds.
What's the atmosphere of the book supposed to be? What time is it set in? What's the plot about - dragons and fantasy, or some weird romantic story with a scheme going on in the background? It's giving a little bit of everything, and a whole lot of nothing.
I get it, you can't often convey everything you wish to in a single cover, but at least drive one vibe home.
Also, I don't like the typography at all, but that's also up to taste, I guess.

But yeah, I don't know, the whole thing is botched to me. It's overall too flat as well. Just the entire composition seems weird - as I mentioned, it's too specific, yet says nothing. The old cover has at least a vibe I can get behind. It may not be good, but it's better than the new one.

Oh man, it’s a tragic story. I completely drowned my laptop. One of my emails was ancient and I didn't back up the password on my phone. My account for this site was tied to that email. The password on my phone doesn't work anymore because I changed it. So yeah, I'm pretty much screwed.How did you manage to lock yourself out, though?

I know it’s stupid, but there’s literally no backup for this specific email. I got so lucky though cos my book was saved in Google Docs on a different account. So I didn't lose it and I'm almost done writing itDid you have no backup for access at all?

Brooo, not even the book itself? Don't save things on websites; save them on two different external hard drives, if you can. That's the best thing you can do. I got a 6TB Western Digital for that reason. I would die if I lost my shit.
