Is uploading 1 chapter per week enough? in my Story

I'm barely balancing it. I had a stack of chapters in advance, but they are all short and LN like style that many people here didn't actually like. So before uploading I have to go through an entire editing process, (Those chapters are almost useless without editing :blob_teary: , I realized only after hearing feedback from readers on chapter 01 and02 etc.)

What can I DO! :blob_teary::blob_teary::blob_teary:

I can however maintain one chapter per week though, after balancing time with my work hours

What are your ideas and opinion on this

One chap a week works out fine. A lot of people keep a similar shedule.

Some do more some do less but rather then doing more or less it's far more important to pick a regular shedule up and stick to it.

The stats are okay. Nothing outstanding but not bad either, I'd say average, a lot of people here only start seriously following a story when it has far more chapters or it has a proper update shedule that has been proven that the writer reliably sticks to it.

I do 1 a week myself on Sundays. It works fine; If you see writing as a hobby and not a chore (I hope), writing little by little (concepts, future chapter ideas) in your free time will give you enough content to fill at least 1 decent chapter a week (1500+); even better if you have a backlog. I have stuff all the way into my second arc, and scheduling releases gives me plenty of leniency too. Don't pull your hair out about it and do things at your own pace.

PANIC! THAT IS NOT ENOUGH! YOU WILL LOSE YOUR READERS! OMG PANIC! PANIC! PANIC!

You're doing fine. Just keep poking away at it, and enjoy the process.

It varies a lot. I sometimes forget about my works on SH and then it clicks, "Oh, crap, I should update that now, it's been weeks."

I feel like this type of writing would be easier for me to balance with my work.

Like writing around 100,000 words at once when I get free time (Like Volume 01) and uploading as a 'book' instead of chapterwise uploads then after a long time upload 100,000 words (Next volume) etc.

Is there any alternatives?

I looked at KDP and Moonquill

What are your experiences at those? Like If I could finish vol 1 can I upload it in KDP and hopefully get views and purchases? If someone is using KDP what stratergies you follow
