Hello everyone! I've been posting here for a little more than a month, and I was wondering if there was a way to motivate more comments from readers. It feels great knowing some people are checking my story, but I really wanted to know what are the things they are liking and the parts I could improve.

Any tips?

From my own experience: author's notes at the end of the chapter and engaging with those who leave comments

Author's notes and polls. It doesn't really have to be serious polls it can be shitposts that are related to the chapter.

Author notes and replying to comments. I'm always thanking people for leaving reviews and their support throughout the series lifetime.

Opening a discord and building a community around the series was the best idea I ever did, not only is it motivating for me, but it keeps readers engaged. I've even had readers begin romantic relationships because the series Discord brought them together! :blob_cookie: I now have ~520 members in the server, sourced from SH and RR pre and post chapter author notes.

Engaging with those who comment, especially if they point stuff out that needs fixing.
