The Random Idea Thread

I love it when I get random ideas just from looking at or hearing something, and then I have to stop and think "Hold on, that's actually awesome." Let's use this thread to talk about those ideas.

I was at Walmart today and I happened to see one of those charity funnel things you put coins into and watch it roll around and around, and I suddenly got the image of people playing some kind of sport inside a giant one of those. On motorcycles. And if you fall down the hole, you're out of the game. And let's throw in Mario Kart weapon boxes too, because why not?

Sounds like a good circus act or something the Japanese would go for... just need to make the roof a Plexiglass & steel hemisphere, but if you want combat a passenger (in a sidecar?) would be needed, the biker is actively using both hands

'Reincarnated as a villain', but the 'characters' in the story are actually just paid actors for an interdimensional piece of media. Everyone knows they're acting except MC.

Black Souls but with Isekai templates and tropes. (And maybe less r*pey and brutal, at least if I ever were write something like that.) It would be about cleaning up the mostly negative consequences of how Isekai-d people eff up the world and natural balance.

Reincarnation as a rogue-like raising sim where people get pitched against each other. Choose your perks, spend your skill points and then fight it off in random scenarios.

I had a random idea to make a Bluetooth headset that also covers your mouth with a microphone and lets you have private conversations in public.
