The “school beauty/goddess” trope is kind of dumb

I’ve seen this trope multiple times throughout the various novels, mangas, and anime I’ve watched and find it pretty dumb. Before I got into high school I thought it was just exaggerated, but now I just think it’s bullshit. Are there pretty girls in my school? Yes. Is there an indisputable #1 beauty every guy (excluding those in a relationship and those who aren’t into girls) in school wants to date and or f’’k? No. I know the tropes are exaggerations and it’s likely different in other places but it still feels painfully unrealistic seeing so many dudes ass kissing and meat riding for girls. What do you guys think?

While in most cases, it's exaggerated, it does happen. What it is, is basically the Asian version of the top jock culture in America. Except in East Asia, there is a greater emphasis on the community. That is, if one person becomes a dominating factor, other people must fall in line too or be ostracized. This happens less in South East Asia, where this particular culture is not particularly observed, though you can still it happening. Such as when a particular religious or political leader say that "gray is a lighter black" where every other fanatic agrees and those who disagree are scum that should be hanged to death by the order of God.

Back in the all-girls school that Ai-chan studied at, there was this senior who was very popular. She was close enough to the trope of school goddess, though she wasn't all that arrogant like in the stories. She was the school queen whose father was the boss of almost 5% of the students' parent, so many of the other students tried to butter up to her so that their parent could get promoted or to avoid sacking. Needless to say that she was also rich and was the subject of awe and envy. Her academics was so-so and her athletic abilities were mediocre though many would sit and watch when she played volleyball. She was also very beautiful and was the subject of wet dreams by pretty much every lesbian or bisexual students in the school.

Ai-chan had a wet dream about her too, but never dared to confess to her. Ai-chan later found out at a reunion that she was actually a playgirl at school and had many girls at her beck and call. If Ai-chan had confessed back then, even nerdy Ai-chan could've licked her delicious titties every weekend.
