Sometimes I wonder if people forget English

I suppose it's because of my generally nice behaviour, but I am starting to think many of my female classmates think I am a simp. Because most of our conversations go like,
Her: Me? Are you talking to me?
Me: Yes.
Her: Are you saying I made a mistake?
Me: Yes.
Her: Oh.

It really makes me wonder if they like...did they forget how to read English? I can understand that my liberal use of commas, may make reading a sentence confusing. But still!

Sometimes they go on for long. Like the longest one went like
Her: You should try wearing make up to hide all those pimples.
Me: Nah, I am good.
Her: But I am saying you should!
Me: Not interested.
Her: Are you saying no to me?
Me: Yes.
Her: So you are disagreeing with me?
Me: Yes.
Her: Me? Are you sure?
Me: Quite so.
Her: I will be angry at you then.
Me: I somehow find myself not caring anymore.
Her: Do you know what I do with people who anger me?
Me: You block them?
Her: Yes, so do you still dare disagree with me?
Me: Yes.

Needless to say, she blocked me.

Also, for some reason, I have met 3 girls till now who legit messaged me the line, "Surely, you won't disagree with me."

There was also this time when my partner in a group project didn't do her part, and I asked why, she said, "Why should I?" And I said, "Because I said so."
They sound like characters in an anime school. Which makes you protagonist-kun.

Better be careful or a demon may come to slay you at night. So you need to awaken your hidden Mana.

You've been warned

I'm a bit confused what this has to do with English.
@w@
This sounds more like a problem with the girls you interact with.
Blocking just cos someone doesn't agree with something inconsequential? That's so...immature and, in a way, self-obsessed.

My course of action depends if the demon has boobs
Not gay if it’s for the homies. Homiesexual
I'm homiephobic...

Actually, quite truthfully no. I have already lost two friends because they turned into simps. Simping is a big problem that my father(who is a teacher) does talk a lot about because everyone is distracted and every girl has like 4 to 5 followers. It's...a whore house here, honestly
Little did they know that you were an absolute chad of a storm that just marches on the beat of his own drum.

It's funny to give hoes reality checks. But if you want to try it differently next time, deflect them without flat-out reject them.

Step 1: Validate their stupid-ass ego that shat out their opinions
"You have interesting new ideas. I never considered it." "I could see how that could have some benefits." "I will include your opinion when I'll think about it." *proceeds to ignore it for the rest of your life*
Step 2: Put some boundaries
"I will consider it carefully to judge whether that fits my circumstances." "It's not a bad idea, but there's not a single answer to fit everyone's circumstances. So I'll thoroughly evaluate it." *immediately discard the idea*

Note that people will dictate what you should do as if they were you without a fraction of consideration for your personal circumstances and feelings (most of which is ineffable and unshareable). It's as if the basic understanding that people are different was missing from their damaged brain. So if you deny their opinions strongly, their individuality can feel deeply invalidated and angry.

This is a skill you need to be able to use anyway: Everything people tell you goes first in the dumpster trash pile (even what your teachers tell you!), then you sort them/crosscheck into your stash of tools.

So if you tell people that you're considering their opinion, it just mean that you properly received their idea in your mountain of trashy ideas to process but you give no guarantee that they'll make it past the final stage of acceptance.
It's funny how you said step 1 and never continued.

Also, while I usually do that, I only retaliate back when the other person is an emo, because God, I hate emos. Pretending to be all wise and sad. It is a vice of me, I know, but I can't help but annoy emo people till they shout threats at me. Only then do I feel at peace.

I don't get it. Are you saying these girls are literally telling you what to do with your own face, or expecting you to pick up their slack for them?
Don't know why you'd give them the time of day like. Waste of energy. But yeah, don't be a simp. :blob_catflip:

This is hilarious example of overly polite English.

Though I am sure people will forget languages when it is not used often.

Well, I guess that is possible. To me that sounds weird and unrealistic, but that might be a difference in countries or smth

Umu umu. Girls are a rare loot here. Plus, we are 18, so most boys just want bragging rights

Both sometimes, tho most of the time they just want me to do their work for me.

I thought this thread would discuss something different. Not that I am disappointed, in fact, I am greatly entertained.

I see...so...someone wants to put a wig and makeup on Agentt, and make siren Agentt come true lol.

On a serious note, I don't think the ones you're talking about forgot english, they just sound childish. And controlling/manipulatuve. Getting mad and blocking people for not agreeing to put makeup on? Lmao. Childish, manipulative and needs a reality check.
