So what tropes that you know that actually happen in the real world. (Edited for clarity)

Are you Tronald Dump?
Nope, I haven't faced as much danger as some, like Trump. It's hard to judge risk precisely from anecdotes, but I have experienced a few close calls, like a car accident and almost slipping into a deep pit in the wilderness. There is a certain amount of selection bias in the subject. If you die, then you don't have 'plot armor,' but if you have enough people, some people are bound to survive against the odds in a way that might seem like plot armor. Speaking of Trump, I coincidentally just watched a video about political assassinations.

When protagonists take the plot for granted, like how an isekai protagonist will expect he has certain cheats and advantages that naturally exist because he was isekai'd, and there was a god in front of them. The thought of being taken advantage of, cheated, and targeted did not even cross their mind! And then said protagonist will complain, Why don't I have any cheats? Being reborn younger and having the ability to see in a status window is just so-so... And what's this? I have swordsmanship? And magic? This is expected, of course, by the protagonist to be a given, and then they would proceed to complain and say they would make do with what they have. Yeah... I guess I am just ranting at this point. I really had to look for this thread, just to decompress.

In real life, the equivalent of this are people who take life for granted and all they do is whine, despite having a good life. Sigh... I am thankful I am alive every other day. That's all, stay awesome, peeps.

Edit: It is ironic how I am complaining about people complaining in fiction and reality, and then I proceed to complain in SH forum.
