Should I add Supernatural genre to my story even if any of that element is just a bit?

The thing is, my story is supposed to be a normal SoL-Romcom-School Life novel. But recently, I just got the idea to make the legends of the city where the MCs live become true.
Though, throughout the story, the MCs and the legends only interacts a few times.
How the legends will impact the story based on my thinking is on the spoiler below.

They somehow got sent off into an otherworldly meadow. The time there is frozen, so they can do anything in that place, like literally anything. To stop it, they just have to lit the fireworks on their hand and touch the sparks and to get to that place, they just have to convey their most strong feelings while setting the fireworks on fire.

They interacts at max of three times. I might can give the slip by saying its a delusion and weird hallucination, but my dumbass actually write both of the MC to feel real about that place.

How do you think about this?

I'm just afraid misleading the readers by giving a genre that has little effect to the story. Well, it's there, but a little.

You don't really have to make it supernatural, just make the scenarios overly blown out of porportion from the characters' perspective.

Like the scenario you described could be explained as just a really beautiful place in one particular part of town and the heighten emotions make it even more beautiful.

If it happens once? No. If it happen multiple times and is integral part of the story? Then yes.

If it's a main part of your story and plot, then yes. If not, then no.

Adding the supernatural tag would mean that it focuses on the supernatural aspect of the world to some extend, even if it's not there all the time it will usually come back often. If it's a one time thing then probably not, maybe something in the tags would be better.

The main view counts for my story come from tags (that aren't bl, gl, gender bender, and isekai).

My tip is this regarding tags:

• Are there open slots remaining in your tag limit?
  • If Yes: add it.
  • If No: consider how big a role it would play. If it has a long-lasting impact on your story, then squeeze it in; if not, leave it out.

I always fill up my tag limit on my stories, prioritizing the 25 tags that are most prevalent in my main story.
