Saw a YouTube video of some guy recording his significant other making him dinner at 1am

When he came home from work. I guess that’s love right there from what I see in the video and the comments. But… I would eat cereal and go to bed. Tomorrow is brunch and lunch. So why not?

The question I’m asking is why is making a meal at 1 am not her becoming a kunoichi on him?

I have to note that the meal really isn't that complicated. Just a blender for what I assume to be a tomato soup. For the tacos just some simple stovetop stuff.

As such it isn't expecting a complicated supper. Also since it is a video, (that I am not going through the effort of finding a source for) it has a likelihood of altering facts.
Either way, it isn't odd for them to share weird sleep schedules. So I am willing to assume the 1am not being that relevant.

This meal is likely the time they are able to interact most during the day, considering one just got of 14 hours of work. So it makes sense to put effort in. Finally, consider that with the 14 hours of work, choosing something like cereal will likely be especially unhealthy without a proper meal for real nutrition.
