I’ve been writing on ScribbleHub for almost 10 months now and I recently hit the
50 chapters milestone for my novel,
Five Divine. I’m really proud of the world I've built, but I’m facing a common struggle: I get some views, but zero comments, likes, or loyal followers.
I realize my marketing or my early chapters might be turning readers away, and I’m looking for some brutal, honest feedback to help me fix it.
A quick pitch of my story: It’s a Sci-fi/Fantasy adventure about a race against time. Five divine relics fall to Earth, each carrying reality-altering powers. The protagonist, Miguel, alongside his friends and a robot named B34, ends up in a desperate race against an alien leader named Pyramid to secure these relics. Along the way, they uncover a massive conspiracy involving "Yaol" (soul energy that grants powers), In addition to discovering more about a world they didn't know they lived in, a war they didn't know they were involved in.
What I'm looking for: I would love for someone to read the first few chapters and tell me exactly where they lose interest. Is it the pacing? The dialogue? The prose? I want to learn and improve.
