What does stub mean?

But not in the literal sense. Hahaha. Idk why, but "root out" feels a little more appropriate for stub.
For web novels, stubbing is when the author takes down all but one or two chapters of the story and puts the rest behind a paywall, usually by publishing it on Amazon. (Thus leaving a stub, like an amputated limb... or apparently the stump of a tree.) So you can still read it, if you're willing to buy it.

Well, I suppose they got the bag, I'm happy for the author.

I think I just came up with a good one. I've never seen someone reincarnate as a planet or solar system. Make it have like a primitive civilization living on them and they gain more levels as the population grows.

Hahha. Nah man. You can look it up and instantly find one. There's one in this site that I read a year or 2 ago, but I dropped it since there's too much ass pulling and kinda forgot about it.

Tbf, you don't really need to be a planet to for that kind of plot. It would be a waste if you being a planet ends up just being a gimmick.

I guess they really have done everything. But I didn't find any that were reincarnated as a living City, so that might be new.

I like how stories get more specific with their reincarnations. Hahaha.
Yeah I guess nobody has really made something about being reincarnated as a living city. Well, honestly if you become a big ass tree, even your branches can become a city, or if you reincarnate as a battle ship, with a crew number the size of a city by today's standards.
Their is also a guy, John Cooper Hawksmoor, who links with cities. The bigger the city, the stronger he gets.

Not Isekai exactly but that sounds like the origin of Danny the Street in Doom Patrol...

That's actually what made me think of it.

I've seen being reincarnated as a battleship or spaceship.

Hmm... misread another thread title and that got me wondering ... has there ever been a "Reincarnated as a Boy/K-Pop/J-Pop Band" story? I know there have been stories with characters reincarnated as a single artist but how about as the entire band (possibly including the more-important-than-the-on-screen-"talent" producers, video editors and stylists)?

Any group reincarnation involved ends up as a Battle Royale / Survival Mission or the Defeat the Demon King route, bonus points if there's a guy that gets kicked out or "dies" at the start due to reasons like having a weak skill. Hahaha. Either way, I'm a sucker for stories like these.

Yeah, most group stories reincarnation tend to have parts of the original split whether it's their power or personality into other people or creatures and one of them will be the main who collects everything becomes the new version.

Same. But there's just so much bad stories with that plot and I've given up on trying to find anything good.

That's true but I feel like if you don't really look for it, eventually you'll come across one of those hidden gems. As for me right now, I just tend to binge those quick transmigration stories. They're not the best and well written, but they're pretty interesting being able to merge so many different settings in worlds into an okay story.

Is this the one where the MC goes world hopping in order for them to change the plot of that world?
I think I've read a bunch of those a few years ago but haven't really finished one yet since I usually catch up to the latest chapters without the story being finished.

How do they end? I know that there's usually a mysterious big shot (ML since the MC of stories like these are usually Females) supporting them behind the scenes, but what's actually the end goal? Or how do they get out of the quick transmigration?

Well they usually end one of two ways. If the person is bonded to a system then they're most likely dead in their original and they're revived at the end getting to keep all the skills and talents they've pick up through their travels. Now the other ending is if they're part of an organization that goes around fixing worlds. They usually find out the organization is working against them and the organization tries to go against them so they escape do their own thing, get a bit stronger, come back and take out whoever screwed them over. The one I found most interesting in recent times was Quick Transmigration Cannon Fodder's Record of Counterattacks.

Ah. I also read that one with the familiar, but it's more of a soul transfer right? Still technically reincarnation I guess. The Fox Seals in that one were cute tho.

We also have one with tree-tree. But I stopped reading it for a while coz the setting is so depressing. I'm also waiting for the one with the Demonic Tree to be finished so I can read it in one go, it was quite interesting when I left it.
They still on the first layer. It'll be years before they finally get to the main end goal. Good luck.

There was one on trending here about a year ago.
