Reader preferences on dark elves' looks?

A variety of dark skin tones from tan to onyx black to dark blue. With white or silver hair being the most common, but other colors possible. No restrictions on eye colors, but heterochromia being more common than in other races.

Blue elves look retarded imo, easily the worst color. The japanese tan ones are pretty good. I think a grey works well too. I think the darker tones work better if the story is grim, to match the atmosphere.

I care more about the lore behind them tbh. Dark elves can look the exact same as elves and I wouldn't mind as long as there's a good reason for it.

Why would sun elves be ebony, and not the golden we see from Skyrim's elves?

Because those are high elves, kek.
