I just gave him a few details about the MC's appearance (necklace, black katana, blue Aura, hair, eyes, gauntlets), along with a few instructions like making it a close-up of the MC with the Katana. Aside from that, I left it to him since I thought the less I limited him, the worse the cover gets, and it worked out exactly like I'd hoped.
So he came up with the details; I just gave him a few things to work with.

Well, I kinda asked him if he was willing to do a commission instead of a daily sketch, and he was more than happy. So we discussed the ideas, and he came up with a few poses, and then he just went with it.
Anyway, I'll stop hijacking this thread now.
I can only recommend trusting him if you need a good cover, especially if it's for an action-related story.
Definitely one of the good guys. Will probably be famous and busy as hell in a few months.
