He killed himself to open the realm and then be reborn into a new era.

Another MC I'm writing but not yet published had also reset himself willingly, but he would rate it 1/10 because he expected to die and not be reborn... especially not into a body that was toasted in a magical explosion before he got back his memories. Never trust a system from Bethesda, buggy bastards.

Well, she'd basically been slowly dying since she was like six, so having those dozen+ years being behind her is good.

Turns out, her soul was damaged by what was killing her. Afterlife transition is too dangerous for a soul in that state, and a standard memory wipe reincarnation as a new baby would also be dangerous. Things happen, there were conversations, a bargain was struck, and now she's a magical blue fox with the toolset to eventually be a proper kitsune, but in the mean time she's quite content to play the part of familiar to a wizard she encountered at the edge of the woods.

Though, to be fair, her opinion might be biased by the fact that he is a very pretty elf wizard.

So yeah, 11/10, though she would not do it again because she wants to keep the pretty boy.

Side note: only like 10 chapters have been written about this one so far, and they are only posted on Patreon. I *will* get back to it eventually.

Roxy's return was not easy, but it did have it's upsides, she was able to love someone who loves her back, as well as show her ex girlfriend that what they had was extremely toxic, even it ended in her ex trying to kill them both.

Didn't write a story about it, just (probably) died once and ended up born in this world. Terrible world building, stupid main characters throughout history, and pretty bleak future. Also, no harem, OP cheat skills, or even fantasy elements like all the isekai advertise having.
Pretty disappointing, would not recommend.

I completely understand the five years as a banana slug thing - I was a bit of a dirt bag in Atlantis and deserved that. But we were all pretty much sleazy pricks, so I didn't stand out.
Moving to a chimpanzee for almost a decade after that was interesting, I'll admit.
Becoming human after that was kind of disappointing, really.
Then I spent a decade as a cow. At least they revered me but ... not recommended.

Her rebirth was near a village of fluffy kemomimi and even still she felt zero attachments to the world and her new life. She had nothing particularly impressive besides a slightly better body, and waking up in such conditions left her detached from the world and her new life. After all, she knew nobody and vice versa, and if she died she might just reincarnate again, so what does any of this matter?

It left the bunbun with a very nihilistic view when her life was nearly ended by a crazed kitsune villainess. The only thing leaving her with any lingering fears is that if she died right then, she'd never find out what happened next in a story she was hearing.
