Quick question for any veterans around

Hello to you all, it's me, the man out of it's depth.

In any case, the reason this thread exist, made in a random rush, is because something completely unexpected happened to one of my story.

It's not something bad, I reassure you, actually it's a good news, the kind one may even celebrate, though, in my case, I'm just wondering if I can rake advantage of that.

I'm beating around the bush here, the reason why I created this post is because one of my story that I was writing to improve my skills, just like that, randomly decided to end up on trending so....

Is there any good way to take advantage of that? Something similar to what people on Royal road do maybe? Post more chapters, more often, or something like that?

Or is that pretty useless and should I just enjoy the ride no matter where it takes me?

I mean, I will of course not stop until I'm satisfied with my writing. So don't worry, that wasn't my goal. I'm having quite the fun writing too, and I have around 100 chapters in backlog, a chapter a day, 100 days, so, yes, I won't stop.

Thanks for the help though, even if I was searching for some more actionable tips I wasn't already planning on doing.

There are not many tips to give, because most of the time, it all comes down to posting enough. My very first book was full of bad grammar, yet still garnered enough readers to put it onto the trending list over and over again with multiple first-place slots. If you have a story/characters that are interesting enough, then a stable and continuous release schedule does the rest.

Yeah, I kind of think output is king, which make sense.
We only have so many weeks in our lives and these stories have to have an end.
Only GRR Martin gets away with making people wait for it.
