I'd say progression fantasy, with a weak to strong or strong to strongest protagonist.
tho i'd wish for one using wits instead of over-reliance on his skills, and someone with an objective, he actually works toward too, instead of forgetting in the power grinding TT

Lots of stuffs.
Spicier teh better.
Moar details is better too.
But most of all... a story has gotta have good, compelling, and deep, characters with an interesting plot.
Somethin new. Push the boundaries. Except wit vampires. If ya make em into lil sparkle-trolls, I'm out.

Visual novels with good gameplay like the Persona games.
I don't like other VNs due to their lack of gameplay and lack of interesting characters for me to latch onto.
I also like legit games with good stories tho.
