Sure, let's give this a try. I'm actually holding back a lot since I put a lot of work into my characters, particularly with understanding their psychology. I might go a bit over, apologies if it's too much, I'm trying to do this some actual justice.

Personality
Cassidy Cain is a determined, logical, and strategic visionary who leverages her instincts and training to manipulate and predict the actions of others. She maintains a polite detachment in public while showing a more relaxed and playful side to those close to her. She has a preference for diplomacy and trickery above all else, though, amongst her group, she's internally the most aggressive and makes a point of controlling herself. She has a tendency to bottle up her emotions because of this. She tends to repress, displace, and deny as defense mechanisms. Also can be a control freak and a tad too clever for her own good.
While charitable and hardworking as Cassidy Cain, she follows her own approach to noblesse oblige in her Lady Thief alter ego, which she uses to help those that living honestly can't help. She is somewhat cynical beneath the surface, believing that fairness and such don't exist, and so wishes to help those who end up in tight spots that "the truth" can't save. Given the benefits of her position in life, she believes she can more successfully walk the line of morality and get away with things that others might not get away with. Still, she makes a point to avoid crossing said line, given her strong principles. Also, despite the fact she doesn't wish to acknowledge this, a part of her does relish the challenge while also having something of an axe to grind against some of her fellow members in the upper echelon.
Backstory & Motivations
The heiress to the Cain fortune, Cassidy grew up with wealth, fame, and power. To keep her from becoming a spoiled brat and prepare her for her future, she was trained by her grandfather, who instilled in her a sense of ethics that mingled with her innate drive for power. Due to this, she's aware that she did nothing to deserve what she has. Consequently, a part of her is desperate to justify her existence. It's one thing that leads her to try to contribute more to society, in conventional and unconventional ways.
While she is genuine about wanting to help those with less advantages and feels genuine satisfaction from it, these are some of her unconscious secondary motivations: to prove herself and her abilities, to be respected, to convince herself of her own importance, to dominate the environment, to get her way, and above all else, to survive. With survival in mind, not only does Cassidy want to physically survive, she wants a positive legacy that reflects how she views herself. This is also why Cassidy is often visibly annoyed when her pragmatism is criticized as being no different from or better than her targets. She wants to be herself, but she also wishes to be viewed as a good guy for it.
