Any experienced tips and tricks?

I have not tried doing play by post, but I have plenty of GM experience. Best advice I'd give is to be sure to get ongoing experience feedback from players. If it feels like things aren't pacing well or players are stuck, assess and see if you need to change things.

It is, right now i think you need adventurer role to see it, or maybe added manually. I'm not in charge of that, ask @Omnii

Alright, I don't know what your exact setup is, but I have played and GMed play-by-post on RPoL before, and I do have some general advice on that.

Assuming that you have people who are interested in rolepaying in depth with their characters, this is a great opportunity. But you also don't want to bog down the main flow of the game. The best way I have seen to handle this is to create RP-only spin off threads; if there's some down time, or even just some RP potential after a celebration, create a thread dealing with just the side-story events for that time and location.

Then move the main thread along. There will always be a certain amount of drag slowing down the main thread just because you want to give everyone a chance to post. Having the spin off threads gives other players something to do while waiting for the main thread to move along.

As of now, access to the campaign content is locked. I'll set up to be viewed at the discretion of the campaign members, but I'll need to ask them first. (In role select you have to grab the adventurer role by saying you're interested in TTRPGs then you can see some related stuff)

As of now there are six campaign members, I believe that is going to be the maximum for this first game. But if it goes well then future games will be set up, so currently there might not be room for participation, but you should discuss with the dragon.

It is a bit late to start as a player (and we are full), but we are going to make it so nonplayers can read the game as we go.

Perhaps if some players need to leave or we want more I can add some in but don't count on it. I don't know how long this first game will take, so perhaps waiting for the next game might be better.

Or, if enough people join the server to play dnd we might be able to start a second game. Would need another GM for that one.
