Writing Planning out a story that makes fun of NTR, any hot takes you want to see?

As the title says. After reading one too many story synopses that drop the bomb towards the very end, I've gotten tired of seeing it everywhere and want to write a story to share how I feel about seeing it everywhere. The basic premise is that a decent guy (who just recently started climbing out of his own rock bottom) gets transmigrated to a world out of one of these stories based in 1980s America. He's got a system full of attributes and Skills made to aid in adultery but he has no intention of using them for that purpose, so instead he ends up taking advantage of it to find an interesting career path and carve out an honest living while still living in such a world where adultery is rampant. Eg. He gets [Detect Cheater] after catching his girlfriend cheating on him and subsequently breaks up with her, and accidentally grinds it up to the point he can use it to find "cheaters" in more than just relationships, and uses it to get hired by a casino.

Are there any particular tropes in the genre or aspects of these kinds of stories (or even frustrations of reading a decent story that ends up turning into NTR) that you'd like to see be made fun of? For now, I'm worried that it's just going to turn into nothing but shaming adulterers, rather than making fun of the genre/fetish.

After years of self-destructive behavior, the 19-year-old Chuck Bachman finally realized he’d hit rock bottom and began to claw his way back to a decent life. That process became much more complicated when he was transmigrated to the body of a man walking in on his girlfriend cheating on him. What’s more, the world he ended up in was one where such an event was entirely common, with both men and women holding little value for the idea of faithfulness.

Instead of letting the sight break him any further, he embraced the brand new chance at life and rejected everything holding him back. His sort-of now ex-girlfriend, his dead-end job, and the adultery leveling system he somehow obtained through all of this. Well, maybe not that last one, except when it comes to how it was intended to be used. When a man has nothing left to lose in a world that encourages cheating, he’ll learn to cheat the world.

Hell, some reader/authors here bitch about NTR in stories that doesn't even have it. Their hate for the genre just awakes whatever trauma they have and turn into FULL BIAS mode.

That's fair. I was planning to name the story something that makes the topic be very clear, along with a cover image that does the same. Something like "NTR is a Shit Fetish!" with a generic ugly bastard with a crossed out red circle over it as the cover. And thanks for the warning! I can imagine the primal fury seeing it can give (and thus why I'm making this :P) so I'll be sure to take care.

most of dislike for ntr comes from them self inserting into male protag, and imagining his gf is actually their gf. call them out on this.

Ugly bastard aims for thick housewife with a constantly absent husband, but when he breaks into the house he goes through a Home Alone-esque dungeon trap where the truth is revealed.

The husband knows none of this. He comes home, makes love to his caring wife, and goes back to work. When he's gone, the wife turns a secret knob in the fridge and reveals that the thick housewife is a serial sadist kidnapper with a prison of ugly bastards which she pegs on the daily basis whilst keeping them in a charity belt.

Listen buddy, I'm just gonna say it since everyone else is too nice: ya cant call it an NTR parody of there ain't even any NTR elements.

Just sounds like vanilla with extra steps. Also, if the worldview is that faithfulness isnt all that important, then is that even cheating? It's more like having an open relationship if everyone basically doesnt really care about being faithful anyway.

Shaming cheaters and adulterers? Cool, but again, cheating on a partner isnt viewed the same way in that world. So really only the MC is gonna be salty about the cheating, sounds like. And then I'm gonna say, "yo this dude needs to stop being a salty cunt, this ain't his old world"

Like the concept is fine, I just dont think you should call it an NTR parody.

The synopsis doesn't sound like a parody to me, moreover it doesn't sound like NTR at all. Maybe have your MC transmigrated into a hentai world where he's thrown into multiple NTR scenarios. You could have him fight nail and tooth to not succumb to the debauchery or maybe he'd go around finding cheaters and what-no, and fuck their mothers.

I don't think you fully grasp the concept of cheating/adultery. The world you're describing has no relation to neither. Cheating is a forbidden fruit. Once you remove the consequences behind it and make it that easily attainable and accepted, then it is no different than a regular relationship - there is no thrill behind it. NTR seeks out this thrill on either sides.

In the situation you described, the MC gets cucked. That's all of the NTR element to the story. If he fucks anybody else, well, it's fine since everyone else is okay with it. And unless the MC changes his views and mindset, he'd be constantly getting cucked by his girlfriend since he's the only one who perceives it as such.

I might be reading a bit too much in this, though.
