I just wanted to ask what plans most authors use on patreon. Should I use lite or pro version?

Depends on what you want. Lite doesn't let you create tiers so it's exactly a tip jar like that. People still can subscribe while setting higher payment value themselves during the process of subscribing though, just that you have only single option visible.

If you want to categorize your tiers since you want to offer something in them (like a different number of advanced chapters), then you have to use pro. If you just want to have a page similar to Koffi, then go with Lite. I naturally use the Pro one. The difference is just 3% anyway.
