Onsite Messaging Bug

The SH messaging thing is bugged, I think. The one on the site with all the stories, not the forum site

Sometimes, after you send your message, it'll show up as an empty message instead.

Also, sometimes editing messages just doesn't work.

By the way, it's not just my problem, since this happened to some who sent me a message before it happened to me too.

It's not all that troublesome. I can get around it by just sending multiple messages until the actual message makes it through.

But it's still a little bit inconvenient...

Can I get more information? I've tried a lot of different messages and I can't seem to recreate this bug.

What type of messages are you sending? Do they contain any special characters or anything that might bug out? When you run into this bug again, if possible, please copy and paste the message and DM it to me so I can try to recreate the bug.

I didn't use any special characters as far as I know.

It also bugged even when the messages were short or a bit long.

I'll try to give as much info...

Here is when it happened first.

Didn't know about the bug yet, which was why I first thought that someone just sent me an empty message.

Apparently, it was one of my readers who also tried writing, and they wanted me to take a look at it or something.

It then happens to me right afterward. But I just brush it off, and typed in the same message again.

It happens repeatedly afterward, but I discover that I can edit the empty message.

So, before I hit send, I copy my message, then paste it on the empty one that shows up.

Gonna censor the first part cuz... y'know. Privacy and stuff.

Anyway, the text hidden by the green marker are the same. So, the bug evolved to counteract my counter.

It sent a shorter message containing only half of my message, and it was IMPOSSIBLE to edit. I've tried.

I also tried again, just before I wrote this reply post. I still cannot edit the message; it goes into the editing mode, but even after I press save, the message doesn't change.

Much to my dismay, I can't fix my mistake in the message: "sites" should be "site's".

So after that happened, I just sent the message again, and luckily, the result was an ordinary empty message that I could edit at the time.

The half message thingy doesn't happen again. But the empty message bug thingy does.

That's all... I think? If you have more questions, I can try to answer them as best as I can.

Bonus Info:
(I only thought of doing this after I finished writing all of the above.)

I tried to send a message to my main account using a sub account. It's title was "It's me!" and the message content was "Hi!"

Empty message bug happened again. Can't edit it.

Back on my main account, I replied with "Hi?"

Empty message bug again. Can't edit it either.

In any case, the common point is that my main account is involved...?

I use my phone. Specifically, with Chrome as the browser.

Which reminds me, I should probably try it with a PC...

I'm just starting work rn though, so it'll have to be for later.

I get this exact issue on phones as well
