On a serious note, @JayMark about your novel on SH, why the female protagonists?

Because nobody likes male protagonists. Or I can't write men well. Meaning every time I released a story with a male protagonist it went unread. Technically the gender bender started with a male protagonist. TWM, not popular at all, started with a male protag but I shifted to the female lead. S,TOPLIA has a female central character but is focused on many characters, many whom are male.

The one shonen space opera story I wrote with a male lead got no attention, so I removed it from existing.

I see, makes sense.
When I wa writing smut it got quite a bit attention despite the low star rating because I put in a lot of poly stuff that harem readers didn't like. Personally I don't really like female protagonists unless the conflict is centered around social issues.

Since everyone does it with everyone and it's a group relationship instead of one on one exclusive or a harem.

It's similar to a harem because there are many lovers, but it's more complex because rather than everyone loving one central figure, they are sort of free-loving in a group. Honestly, its too complex for me.
