Good afternoon, my dear companios.
I apologize for not writing anything during all this time, but I’ve been sick due to the unpredictable weather—sometimes sunny but cold, other times hot, even at night.
I’m writing to tell you two things:
First, there’s finally a new novel in the works. I’ve been struggling all this time, wondering, "What kind of novel should I write next?"
And the answer wasn’t easy. At first, I tried writing a raunchy yuri story, but the result was a disaster.
Then, I attempted a reverse isekai about a space soldier who ends up on Earth, but it didn’t work out because there was too much technical jargon I couldn’t grasp.
Finally, I started a Re:Zero-style story where the hero goes back in time to take revenge on his betrayer, but I got bored halfway through.
So after much thought—and after reading some new manga chapters—I finally found my answer.
And the answer is… an otome game novel!
Yes, another otome game story. But this one is different from the one I mentioned before, since the novel I was using as reference hasn’t updated in eight months.
Because of that, I decided to write a new otome game novel based on Reotome, but with a twist. This time, the heroine won’t be part of the harem—instead, she’ll be the "hateful bitch."
The protagonist will actually be smart (shocking, I know), and since he was a former soldier in his past life, it’ll make his plans easier to execute—without veering into schizophrenic territory.
The working title is: "I was Reborn into an Otome Game and Now I’ll Make a Harem of Villainesses."
Here, you can see what I’ve been experimenting with using AI. It’s not exactly how I envisioned it yet, but I’m starting to get the hang of it.
Also, the site I’ve been using has a "Reuse" option, which lets you reference an image to create something similar. Why am I telling you this?
Because it’s perfect for making volume covers! That means I’ll be able to create covers for upcoming novels, especially for Razel and Ixion!
Now for the other good news: After Volumes 2 or 3 of this new novel, I can confirm that Ixion Volume 8 will be released in full.
And I might even go up to Volume 9. Remember, the novel is already halfway done, with only a few volumes left—and nobody wants it to end, right?
So just hang tight for a few more days until I make the official announcement.
Volume 1 will be shorter since it’s mostly about introducing the characters. Volume 2 is where the real story begins.
Enjoy a sneak peek at the main waifus of Volume 1 (beta version): the queen and her daughters! Who do they remind you of?
