A group of magicians settled around the bonfire enjoying themselves. They got drunk and did a magician spin the bottle kind of game. Naturally I took the dare when it was my turn.

They dared me to turn into a walking stick and survive for 24 hrs without any use of magic in the forest.

So now I'm transformed into one. Some friends, I mumbled. It should be easy if only there weren't so many birds around there that love eating walking sticks as their primary source of diet...
