No, the Mandela effect isn't him not liking Filipinos. It's the Filipinos that believe they're in an alternate reality where they'll actually see any of the gold promised to them that's the Mandela
The mandela effect is when multiple people believe in wrongly in a fact... highlight Fact... your belief of how well a goverment was for you is an opnion because each diferent person is affect diferently by the policy enacted by a goverment. Ex in brazil in the ditactorship that we had in here, was consideres the golden age here by many brazilians too, even with the dictator killed and opressed a bunch of people to rise to power and maintain it,why? Because if u were a worker in a factury getting worker right was a huge boon, and being an university student that believed in free speech sucked, thats why its not a mandela effect, since or mandela died in the prison or he did not its a fact

You can't really highlight fact because no Mandela effects ae factual. Because of a disinformation campaign, the majority of voters in the Philippines believe in a bunch of tales of stolen gold when the gold doesn't actually exist. I'd say this kind of mass psychosis fits well.

isnt that more of a opinnion than being mandela effect?
Come here, and you'll know.

Yep. Search "Tallano Gold" for that.

Also, reading these books, and re-watching the results of our 2022 Presidential Elections would tell you that is Mandela Effect.

There are a lot of stories (and I know a few people personally) who destroyed their homes in hopes that the family of our current president would distribute 'Tallano Gold' to them (purportedly hidden in Fort Knox). They did this so they can have their homes reconstructed (bigger and better) with their anticipated gold.

Up to this day, I get a lot of cases (for consultation) asking me what legal remedies I can recommend because they got bamboozled by someone posing as a 'Marcos Agent' who was sent to them so they can process papers and receive the gold.

The first paragraph details how the majority of Filipinos fell for Bongbong Marcos' fakery.

The second is how the very same Filipinos keep on falling for exploitative schemes because they fully believe Marcos' lies (and disinformation in May 2022).

Well, tbf, the situation in our country resulted in a combination of poor computer literacy (see, even my co-teachers believed in that 'Tallano Gold' story, which was presented in socmed as 'history they don't want you to know'), well-oiled propaganda machine (assisted by Cambridge Analytica), underestimation of the Aquino admin of the power of online ads, and the culture of Filipinos having bias in underdogs (the Marcos have long portrayed themselves as persecuted people, whereas, the US Court in Hawaii ruled that they plundered the Philippines, and it was corroborated by the findings of the local courts here).

Another case of Mandela Effect is the claims that Filipinos during the Martial Law Era of the Philippines was in good shape.

Economic data online (I just forgot the sources, but it's easily searchable online) showed otherwise. Talking to those who actually lived in that time (even the pro-Marcoses) would tell you stories of replacing rice with milled corn because the former is too pricey, and rationing (including gasoline). There were also famines (see Negros Famine of 1980s), where thousands died.

On the political side, repression of personal freedoms, like freedom to express and gather. Documented stories of military and police abuses were rampant, though repressed. Conservative estimates put the number of people who 'disappeared' at 3k; not including those who were killed for their political beliefs.

While Filipinos of 1980s up to mid-1990s remember these well, the new generation doesn't. Hence they were vulnerable to online propaganda and disinformation.

The Marcoses also propagated the idea that 'NutriBun', a nutritious bread that was distributed in Philippine Public Schools in their time, and funded by USAID, was a sign that the Marcoses managed the economy well.

A lot believed that shit. NutriBun did exist, but because there's rampant malnutrition in Filipino children of that era.

Any case, I'd better stop talking too much. I'm ready to die, but not from an assassin's bulet. ??

A few months ago I ended up finding out that there never really was a hole in the sky. I remember it was there like 15 years ago.
