So I'm looking at the MC accidentally falling out of his universe, fortunately, this happened by astral projection, so every time he falls out of a universe, he forms a new body in the new universe his soul "lands" in. He knows how to reproduce the event, but he can't control where he winds up. There isn't an infinite number of universes, but there are a lot. At some point, out of frustration, he's going to just start rapid-fire blipping through universes, hoping he finds some clue how to get back because, for some reason, he can't just dissolve and return to his body (plot point).

I'm looking for ideas.

So, imagine a scene. It can be any IP, I don't care, in fact, part of the setting is that fictional stories have a tendency to "form" out in the memetic void. You can make up a brand new scenario, or use one from your own stories. Describe it briefly. In it, a small anime-style hero-type kid appears with sapphire eyes and silver hair. He's about four feet tall, totally ripped, covered in blue, glowing tattoos, and naked. He looks around and, for whatever reason, goes "Nope." then blips out. If it's funny, it could take a few seconds to "charge up" before blipping again, if dealing with the situation for a minute or two is amusing.

It can be he appears at the foot of a volcano and sees a giant burning eye on top of a tower. It turns to look at him. He blinks, "Nope!" And blips out.
Or it could be he appears in the middle of something quite similar to the movie Eyes Wide Shut. His eyes widen to the size of dinner plates before he shouts, "NOPE!" and blips out.

The only setting not allowed is one without magic because that's how this little montage ends. He winds up in a universe that doesn't have magic, tries to blip out, and discovers he's come to the end of the road. When he finally winds up there, he's STUCK. (For character development reasons, I need the Good Guys to lose their 'big gun' for a while.)

Basically, I'm looking for funny ideas to rapid-fire at the reader right before we get to that point.

This reminds me of the divergence meter in stein's gate.

For some reason I just instantly thought of Quantum Leap, the original 80's/90's one with Scott Bakula.

I was taken to the base of a tower that seemed to be holding up a dome that prevented an ever shifting darkness from breaching. I saw a middle aged man eating a sandwich, oblivious to the world around him.

”Nope!”

The silver-haired boy, man, whatever he is, suddenly tore apart the fabric of space and appeared inside the tavern. And not any tavern either, but one that has clearly seen better day, as the lack of maintenance and care has claimed much of its protection, leaving a giant hole to the far side of the wall, and more than half the roof collapsed, swept and piled in one corner. Yet, it was not empty, not at all.

Full of a rowdy bunch of drunkards and troublemakers, all bones and no skins, laughing, singing, brawling. The sight did not make much seen to the silver-haired, and he did not have enough time to digest it before a half-drunk bottle of something flew past his face, mere inches from it, and shattered itself into the already cracked skull of a drunk patron, knocking him off his feet. The tavern roared in laughter and jests. A moment later, someone to his left grabs a chair and slams it right into the ribcage of another, and the man-woman-whatever-they-once-was, shattered into pieces of bones and fragmented wooden splinter. The crowd hollers and cheers.

Then, another fight broke out somewhere at the far side of the tavern, and then another, until the entire hall was once again another. Skeletons and undead threw themselves at one another, wielding chairs, broken bottles, and their fists, they charged at one another, chattering of bones and drunken laughter was all he heard.

A shriek to his right caught his attention, as he eyed a rather tiny bone-man, or bone-woman, charging at him with a bottle full of something yellow, screaming a strange warcry. They come like a kid, he thought, and flashed the drunkard a cheeky smirk, and blipped out of there with a "Nope!".

Read Dark Matter by Blake Crouch. It's about a guy going through universes with minute differences, looking for his home.
