Resolved It's time for me to use SHF search engine. Forgotten manga.

Okay, this manga has been my white whale for a long time. At times it would leave me, but the desire to find evidence it wasn't my fever dream comes back each time.

Things I remember for sure. It was JP manga. It wasn't super old. The setting was school. Genre was close to mystery. MC, and a couple other are trapped in their school in an alternate dimension. Before it happens, MC meets a guide or something like this. One of the people trapped there is a girl, and she simps really hard for MC. The scene that is burned into my memory the most is related to the girl. She has a theme of being caged like a bird. Not literally but metaphorically. Before she appeared in that alternate school, she was controlled by parents, the usual stuff. The scene, or rather panel was a drawing of a birdcage. Lastly, MC was cold.

Things I am not sure of. MC was either a genius or rich. Guide looked like the usual butler with tophat. MC used some kind of magic that were granted to every person, and fought with loli? I think they fought on a school's stage. Reason why simp girl likes MC had something to do with him not giving a fuck. Although MC was cold, I think he reciprocated simp girl feelings? But again, I'm not sure about these things.

That's pretty much it. I don't think it was a horror. It was NOT Corpse Party, Drifting Classroom, Sankarea, or Dead Tube.

Edit. I'm not sure, but I think it's important to mention. MC had short dark hair, average height. Simp girl had long straight dark hair, and was timid.

But yeah, better ask reddit Isekai (despite not being isekai to be honest) OR try mangadex in "action" genre search.

I don't remember. ?‍ I don't think it was a death game, nor was it a battle royale. Alternate dimension means they are in school, but if they look outside there is nothing but void. Something like this. I am not sure, but school itself hasn't changed, it's just they can't leave it. Maybe it's not even alternate dimension and they simply can't leave it, I don't remember.
