I remember reading many novels both good and bad, and I would also like to read them again sometime but......my Favourite Story's have all one thing in common they had an iconic scene I would never forget. Like I recently recall a scene in 'Lord of the Mystery (SPOILER) When Zhang rui was asked by little girl he saved to show his face beneath the Mask. He Showed her his face, but it full of Granules and quite monstrous, it scared the hell out of little girl as far as I remember.

Much more happened in those few chapters, but it really showed a humane side of Xianxia, something that I'm trying to write.

Brotherhood made it so much less impactful to me. Don't get me wrong, in general, Brotherhood was better. But I think everyone should watch the old version before watching Brotherhood.

In one of Trudi Canavan's books, a character de-ages herself using magic. It was the first time I encountered something like that, explained in such scientific detail. Something similar happens in one of the Ringworld books, but I read that a long time afterwards, I think.

I have difficulty remembering specific books, but I can probably pick a scene from a lot more if I was reminded of the book. I'll just stop here though.

Powerfully strong emotions emitted from my characters to me make those scenes a bit iconic in memories.

- FL dying for 7th time from surviving the assaults by FV's schemes and MVs after being punished by ML with being locked out of mansion in heavy winter, crawls away to die alone in the forest with a bloody trails of footprints and torn clothing pieces
- ML's scream when he find her bloody ribbons at the end of trail and no body of FL; goes bald
- FL's gaze meeting ML's during her fall and his attempt to save her; but spaceship literally destroyed upon impact + 3 explosions atomic level
- ML's search for FL, find her skull, FL's skull turns to dusts and get blown away by winds, ML goes feral and eat her ashes and crash site ashes for 28 days and nights
- FL's broken doll state due to personally lobotomizing herself and sealing away her memories + PTSD whenever men present in 10 feet distance + extreme panic disorder when ML's names mentioned
- ML's reactions to FL's broken doll state and her reactions to his named existences
- ML's self-sacrifice and death for FL in vain, FL's self-sacrifice method for her people and revenge successful
