Don't follow your dreams.
Get a stable income than with the extra money, follow your dream, AS A HOBBY. The chances that you are the one in a million that can live as your dream is ... well... one in a million. Its not you. Instead, see the suffering of making money as PART of your dream. I must suffer at this shitty job so I can afford my dream.

unless there is a better-paying job, then go to that job. BUT WEIGH EVERYTHING. There is more to a job then just cash.

If you don't mind living in another country, teaching pays well. To be fair, you will have living costs and visas are never fun to process, but you are able to save up quite a bit of cash to go do things with. My family (wife and 2 kids under 5, and yes @K5Rakitan we made the biggest mistake of all) and I are able to pretty freely travel the world in the summers and during the winter breaks. The key is choosing where you go and deciding on the type of lifestyle you want to lead. Before kids, I had saved up enough to pay off my student loans and credit card debt (about 40k USD) and still travel to the UK/Ireland and Dubai (2 weeks each). Timeline for that: total of 3 years. One of those was focused solely on the loans and debt while the other 2 were split between payments, traveling and gambling.

Unrelated to the topic, but are the poop trucks in Dubai real? I've heard so much about them.

When I see that there are English jobs which pay enough for me to keep my lifestyle, and save up money, I wonder:

Why do I suffer for a job where the Trainers think I am retarded, even when I do help the clients, and don't ask the trainers for help, when I can avoid it?

I won't quit just yet, but I am starting to think I am a masochist.

Have a financial plan, don't jump into decisions at last moment. Make sure you have measures in place to help transition from one job to another and then you can wait as much as you want and be sure that even if you do end up leaving or getting fired you're secured.

People are just dulled to pain, even your mind just numbs it cause there's no use burning energy over something that happens frequently over. That's how people find themselves in the most unthinkably horrible situation. We just accept the dire reality and succumb to it.

would you enjoy teaching English? I had a friend who travelled around a fair bit, teaching English. She eventually settled here for a bit before returning to Hungary to work in child care. It's not just the job you'll be getting a lot out of but the travel and culture ops.

The children will sniff out my weirdness and destroy me. My mother was a teacher, she got sick every year, until she quit. Now she is stable and happy.

And today was actually a good day! The clients were kind, and we had theory in the afternoon.

=)

My advice here, just stay there, and while you there, learn some expensive skill like programming, or drawing, that can earn you money, learn everyday and strive for improvement everyday.
