A few months ago, I created an account on SH. Last month, I started posting it. With my pen name (username). Since I have different usernames on SH, RR, and Patreon, I have decided to make my pen name the same for all accounts. I have changed my username on RR and Patreon, but I can't change my username on SH because it is showing that I can only change it after a few months. So I have created a new account with the same pen name as RR and Petron. I don't have many visitors yet. I am thinking of migrating my novel to that account. is it okay

You cannot "transfer" your novel, but you can post it as new on another account, preferably together with deleting the old one, though I'm not 100% sure if there are explicit rules concerning that. Of course that means potentially losing some readers if they don't get the memo, and there might be a delay before your novel and/or cover gets approved when you won't get any visibility on latest updates.

But in short, it is okay to do so.

You want to be careful to read the user agreements for those sites. Apart from these kinds of sites, some traditional publishers may have clauses where they might not like you submitting the same manuscript to others. Or they may want exclusivity rights somehow; with varying ways how that can work.

This is why, yes you want to be careful to pay attention to it and what the agreements are to use their sites.

But for these kinds of free sites yes you can.

BUT the biggest problem to watch out for is actually piracy. There are rumors some sites have higher rates of piracy than others, which are typically the sites that are associated with certain countries in Asia. the piracy issue is huge. And some sites also they can have a clause where you are required to post a chapter a day or some BS> that's a trap. I wouldn't do those kinds of sites because its too easy for someone to use that as a way to dump and loot someone, or exploit them. Its too boxed in. its not even realistic to think that someone would write a new chapter EVERY single day.

Well, I guess what I'm saying is you want to know what you are getting into.

I read about this a few weeks back. The Internet is vast. It was not hard to dig out which sites do unethical business. I didn't even create accounts on those sites. I heard that authors are not even allowed to talk about them. Thanks for the heads-up, though. To save from piracy, the DMCA will be able to save anyone as long as you pay them $200 to take down and can prove that the content is yours. But these days, where ChatGPT is being used to copy everything and then rewrite content is just a sad reality. This simply makes it hard to take down copied or stolen content unless you sneakily add some sentences that ChatGPT can't catch easily, and you'll be able to prove your authorship.

Thanks, buddy. Since I don't have many visitors, I can do it without much issue. My main playground is RR anyway.

I do think that is quite okay, but the hassle would be, your other followers and the readers will be hard to find you? but if you pin the patreon which is saying, the former Author was indeed you, but you will missed the views, liked and favorite. and starting from the beginning,

regarding the Copyright on the novels on your first username, well I do think that will be quite okay since the author was Indeed you,

Thanks. I have reuploaded my novel on a new account. Now it is visible to the visitors. This is my new account, though.

I think it is quite okay, if he's the real author and scribble hub unlike platform such as novel toon or webnovel that the author needed to take down their stories, unless they're getting paid?

:ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO: I was not expecting someone to bluntly mention the bad website's name here... I have observed that authors generally don't mention their names or give bad reviews because of contracts.
