I tried doing a variety of stuff but I still could not decide which one should be the most important criteria to be considered intelligent

  1. Information processing speed? (for example, how fast can you understand the data?)
  2. Good memory? (How quick can you remember something)
  3. Attention to details?
  4. Ability to pick up on pattern among the information inputs?
  5. Ability to develop connection between different sets of data and generate computing shortcut?
  6. In-depth analysis?
  7. The speed of solving a problem?
  8. The ability to solve problems that people of lower intelligence can not think of a solution?
I try to combine some of those together, for example, I made 3, 4, 6 and 8 to be the highest criteria to be judged more intelligent than other with lower capacity in these criteria but it still feels not very justified.

If I use all 8 criteria, then it feels unnatural because someone more intelligent than another does not require to have all 8 categories completely outstrip the other. Sometimes, they only need one criterion. For example, how can I tell A is more intelligent than B if A loses to B in terms of the 8th criterion?

It's like with strength for the body? Strength can mean many things, and you can chip these meanings into additional stats and skills or keep everything as just strength. Except that intelligence deals with mental tasks.

I would say intelligence is the ability of handling information, information can be handled in many different ways which is the reason intelligence is not something you express in one stat like some believe IQ does, I would say all your ways of defining intelligence are correct in some way.

If you want caterogies i would suggest

Information gathering 3,4,6
The ability to gain information
Information processing 1,2,5
The ability to make information usable
Information utilization 5,7,8
Using the information for given needs

A good old "DO NOT PRESS RED BUTTON" test can serve as a good definition for being intelligent.

Generally, I disagree with 1 because computer has very fast processing speed but that does not mean they are intelligent.

It has good information processing speed, I tried to suggest all these categories of intelligence are separate, because like intelligence is a very complicated topic, like I didn't even talk wbout information itself which can create situation were someone that is 'less' intelligent wins over someone 'more' intelligent.
