I need a non-swear swear word

There are no real swear words in XNPC. Who or whatever's in charge decided that forcing people to kill monsters on a daily basis or else become mindless flesh robots was fine, but cussing was a step too far. So whenever someone tries to swear, the System forces them to say something else. So far I have thunder and ashes. "Ashes! They killed the whole thundering group!" And occasionally they'll put them together as "Thunder and ashes!" when they're really pissed off.

But I still can't decide on a word for them to call other people. "You _____!" I've had a few ideas,but none of them feel quite right. Any suggestions?

So far I have:
- Scab
- Flot (like, short for flotsam)
- Trench
- Gulch
- Hag (unoriginal, but it works)
- Cyst
- Visk/Hisk/Shisk (they sound all right, but I'd like to stick to the theme of using real words)

I feel like "flake" would be a good one. Also calling someone a "dog" might also work, I don't think a system can flag animal names as swear words right? So "fool, dolt, blockhead, goose, noodle, turkey, rat" for my ideas.

When I encounter this type of situation, I like to base my 'swear words' on the character.

For a beastman or a wherewolf, it could be "You flea !", "Fluffing Hell !", "Oh my Dog..." and other things related to animals.

For a carpenter, it could be something akin to "You splinterful slab !", or "What in mahogany is this ?"

I find it more fun that way, it's an occasion to be creative.

One thought - some things that are now seen as slurs were never meant to be, and some things that were meant to be are no longer seen that way. There is no reason not to continue this trend.
For example, the term "Yankee Doodle Dandy" was mean to be a slightly vulgar insult, suggesting that the revolutionaries were simply amusing themselves by playing at being an army, the "Dandy" part mocking their lack of formal uniforms. The British never expected the rebels to embrace the term and make it a children's song...

Another example: I've seen the term "slag" crop up in fiction a lot in the last few years. Sometimes it refers to what it also does in metallurgy - a waste byproduct, so calling someone a "slag" would mean they are a useless person. But I've also seen it used to refer to someone who is very promiscuous and would probably not get any attention if they weren't.

If you're dealing with a typical fantasy world, you could also use terms to reference outside forces (infernal, heavenly, celestial, abyssal) as swear words or at least derogatory terms, either used ironically or to suggest someone has ties to one side or another.

when I was in the military, the francophones would ALWAYS be saying

tabarnak, esti, câlice

Which us anglophones would translate to table snacks, ice tea, cold rice. That usually just led them to another round of cursing.

Can't believe I didn't think of this before - but wouldn't "Bot" or "Drone" be a fitting "swear word" in this setting, given the tendency to become one if you resist the murderhobo imperative?
