I have three stories with LGBT main characters sitting on RR's top 100. Never had so much as a mean comment about it.

You'd be amazed how many people on SH make this claim. My favorite is Moonpearl. She's my favorite in-house cancer cell, but at one point she made this claim and then called anyone who disagreed "incels". I would tag her and let her defend herself but she has blocked me apparently and thus wouldn't get the notification. Some of her like-minded "posse" agree with her I'm sure. They came crawling out of the walls last time I accused her of something. I imagine she'll deny it if pressed too hard.

That sounds like a lot of drama I don't need in my life. Anyway, it's getting to be a bit off-topic (not that we had a solid topic to begin with).

Honestly, people keep saying its better here than in RR but I disagree. I prefer RR to be honest, but I do still like it here. SH just has a different style of "toxicity". I like the forums most of the time. I will be honest though, if RR had more active forums, I'd be there instead of here. Whereas RR has more fairly blunt and brutal reviewers, SH has a VASTLY LARGER amount of immaturity in its author population.

And quite a few people complain about its disapproval of queer/LGBTQ content....and so? I still see shitloads of it anyways on RR. Why do people still not understand that no one HAS TO ACCEPT YOU OR ANYTHING ABOUT YOU. Polite? Sure. But required? No. Blows my mind the entitlement.
