I had one really great day, but I have no idea what I did

I've been publishing a chapter from my story every 4 days. For *SOME* reason on May 8th my views spiked way up (from a maximum of 44 previously, with many days not getting a single view) to 122. I also got 2 comments and 26 favorites.

My numbers have now gone back down, but are a LITTLE higher than before (35 page views when I've posted the last 2 chapters).

What the heck did I do on May 8th? Is there any way to figure out why I got so many views that one day? Is it just random fluctuations? Anything I can repeat?

I believe your publishing time might be the factor; maybe looking into that?

It happens sometimes. An influx of traffic crashes with your time of publish and suddenly you're in the headlights. Gotta pray real hard for days like those. Especially if you're doing monthly releases.
