Hey folks! I got contracted for my webnovel (two technically), but I would like feedback.

Link in my signature, but you can find first 5 chapters on scribblehub. Which is great.

After you read it hit me up with how you like it!

https://www.scribblehub.com/series/234658/dance-between-mortals-and-immortals/ <----First 5 chapters here. They are mostly set up, but I think you will find it entertaining. I post mostly daily until I catch up with all my chapters I have written before.

Any legitimate publication service has in house editing.

Either you are getting scammed, or this is just an advertisement and we are getting scammed.

Not publication service. Webnovel sites.

They just throw a bit of money at people (mostly only really interesting to poorer countries or authors without bigger patreon income) and try to get authors and their stories with that. They often will also do writing competition with high prices (but often they pick the winners instead of statistics) to get more stories on their page.

This isn't about quality, it's about quantity. In the hope, that they get a few excluse stories on their site that people will want to read it in exchange for money. In short, they try to copy webnovel.com but they don't have the userbase from doing translations so they try to force it through a bit (or a bit more) of money...

----------------------
Just went through their site a bit more... they now do a 50k writing contest where they arbitrary pick the winners. Their last contest's main picks had below 500 reads. And their front page picks all have <10k reads. Most not even getting over 1k.

This is clearly a new site wanting to get a piece of the cake. Hence they try to buy traffic and users with money...

I would not trust them, after all, they offered me a contract, telling how interesting and good my story was (which was obviously a lie XD)
That guy even put his discord and all that stuff to make it look more legit.

After hours of research... I found out that it was a spam that wanted to slave me.

It was good to feel special for a second tho

I wouldn't say this is advertisement for their site though.
Given that he has more published chapters under their VIP-system, it's problem a question of getting some attention to his story and over there, so that he can get actual benefits.

I would even believe him (if so, sorry for spamming here) if he said he was looking for feedback. As he'll probably rarely get it over there. But yeah, it's probably mostly to get eyes on his work...

He is on Ringdom and they were I was talking about. Just another webnovel clone...

I know. I saw the person on NU forums and RR, but IIRC, they were with Ringdom for a bit closer relationship, but maybe I just assumed that.

It isn't publication service dork. It is a site where you can post for free. You can also exclusively publish with them for some some benefits. So it is called contracted story. It really isn't that hard to google with respect.

So Ringdom is basically just like Swordstory.
I would say basically. Webnovel and swordstory. They are all similar vein. I habe enjoyed them so far they good ppl. I am not particularly attached to any platform or site so I had no problem contractin one of my stories I am actively writing.
