I couldn't wait to finish the book I am writing now, so I edited the first chapter, and posted it. It is funny because I got this epiphany about writing, and now I am going back to my old habits.

On the bright side, I promised just one chapter per week, so I can finish reading the How Not To Die book in German which I got on Everand! (which is the only flat rate reading app available in my country, which has a lot of German books.)

I've heard of only a small handful of authors who wait until a novel is complete to post it. Usually, if an author isn't posting as it's written, they don't post it at all. Since traditional publishing usually requires you never posted it anywhere else, but you have to have a complete book to offer, that's usually the main reason to do so. There are a few people from Wattpad who post the whole thing free with zero intentions of ever going premium with their work as well, but they're a rare sighting.

Well, I can sort of relate. I have my main work which I post as I write, however I have a number of other works which I have been adding to on the side. I could post them now, I mean one has over 60k words, the issue is however that I lack the motivation to be able to keep posting chaps, so once the current content has been used up, that's it. Thus, I'm saving those works till they have 150k+ words, that way I have them auto-posting chaps without me even having to think about it, and that includes Patreon. So yeah, I'm 50/50, posting as I write keeps me motivated, while working on other things to be posted and forgotten about later gives me something to take a break with and no stress.
