So, first, I would like to say I am Bulgarian. Now that we got that out of the way, my question is as follows:

If I write a road trip type fanfic about Hetalia Bulgaria during the Antique, and make him true to the Hetalia source material (where he gives 0 fucks and likes to tease people until they want to take measures in their own hands (with chairs, cutting boards, and pretty much everything that can be used to induce head trauma) how much hate will I potentially get?

As a Bulgarian, I should have the right to ironize my own country, right? And it is not as if I am ironizing the country itself, but the character which was written by a Japanese man, who gets all the cookies in the world for hearing the name Bulgaria and including my small and forgotten country in his funny (and racist. Let us not forget that Hetalia is super racist.) anime.

So, from 0 to 10, 0 being the readers recognizing the attempts of humor, and 10 being a deportation and a cut in half ID, what do you think will happen?

It's going to depend on the country and their culture. Best thing you can do is point out actual issues that all Bulgarians can agree are actual issues they all have to deal with. Then poke fun of them in a way that feels light-hearted and coming from a place of love rather than you sounding like you're angry and hate the country/its people for it.

Also mention you're Bulgarian so people who aren't from there won't think you're just being racist.

I feel like Eastern Europeans would be more open to that kind of poking fun, at least more so than a lot of other nationalities.

I have talked trash about my country, USA think they are the whole continent and in chapter I even talk about a fictional war battle on New York and the publication date was the September 11, A coup d'etat on a a African country, how Japan think about themselves as a world major power but they are already dead on economy, talking about surveillance system and corruption inside China, how Rusia is at the gates of a civil war(funny enough before the war).

And all the comments until now are about my grammar or why some character did that, o how unrealistic is that a demon succubus with androphobia is firing 15 bullets from a Barretta 92x performance because is a competition pistol with only space for 7 bullets( I just choose that pistol because I was thinking that name was relatively cool, I don't own one to know that only have spece for seven, why is that the problem they see unrealistic and not the succubus?)
