The novel I'll be using is an idea I had - With Adam from the bible as the protagonist, he has very simple fire powers but is just really, really strong and uses his fire powers in ways I personally think are cool.
First of all, as the main antagonist, I am God - like the biblical one, except in the novel he is a floating head, neck included, that changes to be the head of any human to ever be born on the planet every millisecond, voice changes along with it, along with five rings of human hands, each hand with four fingers and two thumbs, interlocked together - twitching, black eyes ranging from one gigantic eye to tens of smaller, clustered eyes on each hand's dorsal side - the fingernails of the hands are wings.
Also, they aren't a singular entity - its more like an amalgamation of Angelic body parts, desires, and their religious belief that they are above humanity, animals, plants, and anything that wasn't just specified.
Given that this version of God can convert ideas, creativity, ideals, truths, and desires into either physical form or into Divine Energy, which can then be transferred into attacks that cannot be blocked, destroyed, stopped, or weakened and is also capable of changing the properties, appearances, and shape of anything it can touch, I would take his wife, Eve, and transform her into one of the hands on my rings.
Then, when his attacks came, I would use his wife as a shield, whilst also using her control over the cold to ease Adam's fire hands, slowly but surely ticking away at him - but, like Adam would, he would definitely find a way around it - either by adding fire to the Divine Energy attacks to make them fire-based, which he is entirely immune to, or he would find another way.
Either way - I'm absolutely fucked.
