How was your first experience with publishing here?

This is good to know. My first book is probably going to be shorter than that (about 48 chapters ~ 81k). I've heard putting sequels to the first installments in the same stories is very common, would this be why?

In short to tldr-shorten, people want experts writers.

Just like people want old doctors.
That is why they wait 50+ chaps.

Or seeing 200+ or 3 books completed, people trust the author more.
I mean, even a non-fan SAO reader, would feel : "wait a minute....there is SAO1 SAO2 SAO3 SAOBonus SAO0 SAOGame1-2-3......MAAAAAAAYBE its good? im gonna try it"

I see, I see. So would a completed story at 48 chaps build audience confidence here? Or would consolidating a series under one book be better in your opinion?
