Forget Toyota and Mitsubishi. Get a Trek. It's better for your health.

Recent toyotas have some issues due to tech shifts, but pre 2020s toyotas are much superior to Mitsubishis. Mitsubishis basically are Nissans and Nissans are worse than toyota. And a toyota can get you and at least 3 other people somewhere 30 miles away very quickly, unlike a trek

According to my stepson, who seems to know a lot about cars, it varies wildly based on model years - but in GENERAL Toyota is the better of the two cars.

*Reading the forums in my Honda accord*
I don't really know if I got the question right, what kind of reliability are we talking about? General?
Anyway, the people I know say that Toyota in general are more reliable, but others also say that Mitsubishi also have a reliable warranty (10 year manufacturer warranty baby!). On the mechanic side, I can say that Toyota parts are easier to source, based on my experience since I've been moving a lot in my country for the past 6-7 years.
