How do you make a good character who has a severe god-complex?

I am writing another story, this one about magical girls since everyone has thought of doing it, and I want to make one of the main characters have a severe god complex, as well as be a violent psycopath. Any good tips on how to pull it off?

make him someone that is overbearing likes to slaughter and generally is cool with emotions and scoundrel but like a how can I explain it lol there, make him a cool scoundrel lol if that sounds right

Hmm, make her very narcissistic but charismatic like Deadpool or iron man, they more often times than not think that they are above everyone around them and constantly boast about achievements and powers.
But make it lessen from go time to time, from being knocked down by someone more skilled than her, but be reasonable, most characters with a god complex only think that cause there's no one to contest them.
Also if she's a psychopath make her think more logical and more willing to throw away her pride or take a step down If someone she cares about is in danger or suffering because of it.
Also it wouldn't hurt to make her sympathetic to the people that matter in her life, I barely ever see this except with Mandy. It's very clear she's psychopathic and doesn't care as long as Billy, her only friend is okay, so that might be fun to see
