How difficult is it to suddenly become a V-Tuber?

Why do you define twich as a joke for v-tubers? I only ever use it to watch a few streamers of two diffrent topics and dont realy enter it otherwise, and never checkd how things are for the one making content, so im corius...
Twitch moderators are heavily biased and openly simp for titty streamers. They don't like male or vtuber streamers and will ban them for slight offences but give preferential treatment to titty streamers. This has been obvious for years now ever since they banned the word simp and the recent fiasco with them "allowing" r-18 streams because of the backlash of ignoring comments to ban literal camwhores streaming naked because the mods are coomers.
Youtube might be incompetent because they might accidentally ban you but twitch is actively malicious. With the former you can at least reach out and rectify the mistake.

Welp. Not really a problem. As its true.
I think its just that it irk you to compare vtubers with the "certain website for nsfw services"

My point was basically : you sell your "talents", to attract people to tip you, despite ton of alternative that are totally free

But still, in your defense, its human to have comparisons being irksome/annoying. And probably touched your ocd to compare both as one is 2d and one is "3d real body".
See, I didn't see it that way, cause there are vtubers that have an onlyfans as a side hustle, joke, or digital store.
Most don't show their RL bodies there either. Melody has her 3D avatar CB vods there, Saruei sell 3D H animations of her avatar there. Some others sell ASMR, voice packs, or art there. It's quite a mix of NSFW, and SFW content depending on the vtuber.

Are you rich?
? Not even a little.
Bulky PC to handle OBS + whatever game you wanna stream, decent microphone + audio interface, camera (the cheapest to get), lights, etc. - a lot of $$$ if you have to start from 0.
YT is the least bad for the streaming platforms currently. Twitch is a joke.

Even if you get all the equipment, what is a real problem is promotion. Unless you have an actual company supporting you, the chances of being discovered are close to none.
Yeah, that's what I figured. If I had lots of seed $, I'd probably consider it, promotion or not. Seems like the trendy thing to do these days. I've always thought about being a video content creator, for discussion if nothing else, but for whatever reason, I'm shy to the youtube recording thing.
There's alot of advantage of going indie, but there's also alot of advantage of going corporate, but i'm too lazy to list them so lmao
There's no chance I'd go corporate. I have watched just enough V-tube content to see how much they become restricted by the corporate system versus being indie. I don't think I could work with that kind of dragon breathing down my neck.
>motion trackers if 3d
Ah, see, specs like this is what I wanted to be sure of. I know nothing at all about motion tracking tech, but now I know it would be required to have it happen.
Yeah, sounds like the first initial barrier is seed money, followed up by equipment setup, then by choosing/commissioning the avatar. I know getting noticed is important too, but I don't think I'd be too concerned by that one.
2) Male or female ? If female is far easier (cough hololive male vtubers kinda unpopular)
I think the phrases "cute anime uwu girls" explains that one, lol.
Clearly I'd have some work cut out for me. Maybe when God drops a lootbox of money one day.

I'd imagine it's pretty difficult and expensive, just because you need so much equipment and whatnot.
