And AI does not know what I want. Correcting it is can be annoying to. Asked it to write a fanfiction and it already paired the characters in the first 23 chapters. Kept having cheesy end chapter dialogue. Forgetting characters. And it seems to have made one character a super villain for no reason.

Why do we want this?

The AI art have an utility for illustration purpose (considering the amount of characters one story could have, it will cost a lot to have an artist doing it for a good quality), the AI text not. That why there just a small percentage who use the AI for text

It's a machine, trash in = trash out
(This is more of a knock on the programmers than your ability to prompt it.)

Using AI to make a story is a joke atm. Its only real purpose is to serve as an amateur level editor and give you ideas when the well is real dry. Give it a while to actually be somewhat effective

The best example of this is the Will Smith eating spaghetti ai videos vs the latest Sora ones. AI right now just isn't able to go as in-depth as you or others want because it's a machine and still can't understand what humans exactly want.

It will change and get better over time whether we want it to or not. For now though, no good ai fanfictions without human input I guess

Uh you clearly don't know how to properly use A.I to create a fictional work. It's actually quite simple to do with ChatGPT 4 while it's still possible to achieve alot using 3.5 or Claude 3 sonnet.

I would even bet that most people don't know the true potential of it if you include your own ideas to the mix and edit and improve while refining. You can easily pop out a fully fleshed out chapter in probably in couple of hours. Even more so when you use it in tadam with make.com for the automation part of it. Obviously it won't will create entire worlds on its own.

AI should never be intended to fully create something. It is a tool like any other. You could be a horrible artist and the best pens won't save you, but a professional can use crayons and make something gorgeous.
I edit AI pictures and try to be very specific with them. I never claim them as my own. I do the font on my own.
For my new story, I originally got a picture where her eye was messed up, but I fixed it for the cover.

After

And the final result is the font and words I made in photoshop using one of the default fonts that come with it. So its free to use.
