this thread revived my interest in anime a little bit
So I decided to watch some anime that I haven't yet and more or less came to the list you see in the poll
you can recommend me anime if you want but then I ask it to be niche, preferably not isekai, not too long.
If the original sources for the anime here are better do tell.

I really love Ookami to Shinkuryo (Spice and Wolf) and Great Teacher Onizuka (it's where I got my principles as a teacher), but I'd recommend you watch Spice and Wolf first, then GTO.

@TrashyHuman also if you're looking for some wild, school comedy, Cromartie High School is one of my recommended animes.

For action, I love Black Bullet.

Gundam the origin is one of my favorite anime that I'd recommend.

Don't need to know anything about Gundam to watch it. There's hardly any Gundam in it actually. It's just a really good revenge story.
