Lesson to self, don't get into the pataphysics department of SCP. Also, never look up any SCP if you are asked to do so. Curiosity made the cat sleepless.
Why, you might ask? Well, hear this little story I recently went through.
It's 11:20 midnight, I was still browsing and writing some words in the upcoming chap of SHHS.
Once in a few minutes, I would check the forum, to see if anything piques my interest. In this case, something got my attention. It's the "Scp-1762" thread.
The thread's author gave me and some other helpless users a prompt. The prompt is to make an isekai story where the MC was reborn in the world of 1762, a.k.a inside the box.
As soon as I saw that, I immediately went to 1762's wiki and learned that I lost no motivation to do so since I needed to finish the chap as soon as I can.
Then, I opened YouTube to watch some interesting videos. The first one I watched was "Grandpa Found his car keys", uploaded just a year before I was born.
You should go watch it yourself. Then, I watched more videos created by the maker of said Grandpa video. Then, the algorithm trails my dopamine to a short animation about cure killing cancer named "It's Payback Time". Then the algorithm leads me to "Agent 327", "Irradiation", "Redemption", "Yonkers - WWZ", and finally, the one video I was cursing all this night causing me to not sleep this entire moment. What was not sphere... Ah! Yea, Anti-Meme. Now, a division was made filled with geniuses of self-reminding called Antimeme Division, The division is for another topic, let's focus back to what I want to tell you guys.
Because of 055, it reminds me of another anti-meme SCP, numbered "3211".
At the first 6 minutes, people can see what it is and describes it. And if they remembered what it is in the span of 6 minutes and left off from the exposure of 3211, they're lucky. These are called pre-3211.
Then, we got those braindeads who needs more than 6 minutes to know what it is. They're called post-3211, and they're now oblivious to it.
3211 will alter everyone's minds who has made contact, both physically or mentally or written or recorded or heard, to forget itself from the people. The real thing could either be a Box of Match, a Toaster, a pair of leather gloves, or a coin.
Now, it's not that interesting, but then I see in the audio logs of it with red underlined text saying "does not exists". To me, that looked like a URL, which is actually a URL. I clicked on it and now arrived at the PD department, "Pataphysics Department".
In short terms, it's basically a multiverse department of SCP. And the URL I clicked was an SCP file labeled "5507". What is 5507? Something that contradicts with the fact spoken by someone, that's what it is. For example, it is not a branch of birchwood, but it's not not neither.
Skip the SCP, onto the explanation. Among them words, there are a few SCP with text colored blue and underlined. These are 3812, 1304, and the [DATA EXPUNGED] ones. The Data Expunged was actually SCP-001. Those SCPs are related to a lot more SCPs. Then, they trailed the words to others, such as 2781, 2000, 5000, 275, 610, there was too many.
So, I end my journey by reading 001 page. It was... Funny and, at the same time terrifying.
I recommend you to read them all first, especially the 001. Then after that, comes the proposals. Oh boy, the proposals are just too many things to bear with.
So, now that I am done with SCP today, I might as well take my time to sleep.
