Having trouble creating my first series.

Good afternoon, forum people.

I'm relatively new to the author side of Scribble Hub, so I apologize if this is in the wrong section. For a TLDR to this post, my question is this: my series isn't showing up as a searchable series and I've followed all the guides. What am I doing wrong?

Here's a more detailed explanation.

I'm a new member to Scribble Hub. I used to use the site quite frequently to read many books, but I never created an account and always browsed as a guest. At the start of last year, I decided to finally post one of the stories I was working on writing, which I first posted somewhere else. Somebody asked me why I didn't post my story on other websites, which had completely escaped me, so I decided to start with Scribble Hub. I created my account on March 16, 2026, and started uploading the chapters of my series on March 17th. That's where my confusion starts.

Now, I've read the very thorough and helpful post for new readers and writers. I understand that "stories require up to 48 hours to be approved." That's not an issue, I expected something like that. I waited a few days, opened a new browser as a guest, and tried searching for my story. I didn't come up. I went back to my Dashboard, my series is there (meaning I didn't delete it accidentally), showing 0 views, etc, and all the chapters I've uploaded are still there, they haven't gone anywhere.

I was confused, thinking maybe my story was rejected for some reason. I had not received any alerts or notifications. Not just for why it might be denied, but I also never got an alert acknowledging the fact that I submitted a series in the first place. Is this normal? This is the first series I've tried to create, so I don't know the usual procedure. I saw the warning underneath the section for creating a cover and thought that maybe my cover did not meet guidelines. It should have (since it didn't have any suggestive or copyrighted material), but I changed it anyway. About a day later, I got an alert, my first and only alert, telling me that the new cover was accepted. While that was great, I noticed that the warning under the picture was still there, so I'm guessing that wasn't the problem in the first place, and my series is still not searchable.

I waited a week (3/24). I emailed the good folks at the support email, and have not heard a response. Now, another week later (4/1), I'm asking the forums for advice.

I don't want to cause a commotion or a ruckus, but at this point, I have no idea what I'm doing wrong. It's very possible that I've simply missed something and this whole issue can be described as "user error". Does anybody have any advice on how to go about submitting my series so that it can be approved?

Hi, so far it seems your best bet is to wait on support. I also tried to search for your book but like you said it doesn't show up. You should provide your cover here for better feedback if that was the problem and also your synopsis on the off chance it's against the guidelines. AFAIK you don't have to upload a cover, so what I'd do is just try to create another story without cover and see if that one does get approved and shows up in the search.
You can change title, cover, synopsis and everything else later to match your og book and continue from there.

Also make sure you actually posted a chapter. I don't believe stories show up until you post your first chapter. You may think your chapters are posted, but if they say draft, they aren't.

Also, there's only like a handful of moderators. And all of them do this for free, since this site doesn't really make any money. So it may take a bit to get support.
