One of the beginner rank for my story! Although i am uncertain about the 'belief' part. Probably will change this
Novice Shifter:
1.Can only shift small parts of their body, such as their fingers or ears and as they proceed to understand their 'belief' they can change their face too, they can shape their hand and make claw out of it even. But there seems to be a limit to it. After research they have come to the conclusion that, one cannot change their hand of any other form more than twice the size.
2.Limited control over the shape they shift into, often shifting into a crude or distorted version of the desired form. This mainly happens when they can't focus properly. Limitation here is that, if someone can disrupt their mental flow they can make this happen
3.Can only hold the shifted form for a short period of time
4.Has no control over their internal organs and cannot change their physiology.
5. As they progress in understanding their rank, they can maintain their disguise for longer periods of time and make more drastic changes to their physical form, allowing them to fight more effectively.
6.They can also use their powers to infiltrate enemy lines and gather information.
7.They can also develop a side effect of becoming paranoid about their own identity.
8.They also can develop the power to manipulate their own body mass, but only for a short period of time.
9.They can also develop the power to manipulate their own density, making them harder or softer as they wish.
10.They can also develop the ability to manipulate their reflexes, making them faster or slower.
11.They can also develop the ability to manipulate their own muscle strength, making them stronger or weaker.
